We noticed the beautiful orange and blue sign but our toddler just loves those grocery signs! They have so many things to count and read.

1. Point to the word that says "groceries."
2. We need milk for our recipe, can you find the milk?
3. Spell the word, "food."

Neon Shoe Repair & Shine Sign

This sign is for a shoe repair shop. These places aren't very common because, these days, most of our shoes are disposable. But when your favorite shoes get messed-up this is where you can go to find out if they can be fixed.

1.  Do you see a shoe? What color is the shoe?
2. Now point to the word "shoe." Nice work, there it is :)
   What letters make the word "shoe?"
3. What else do you see in the photograph?
4. I spy with my little eye, an ampersand. Can you point to the ampersand?
   Very good, there it is! Do you know what it means? Great, it means "and."

Let's practice drawing ampersands today! And I really want to draw that shoe, too.
