Cursive Sign with an Ampersand

This sign is written with a highly stylized cursive script. The ampersand used here looks a lot like the G clef.
  1. What letters do you see?
  2. Can you read the words?
  3. Do you know what an ampersand is used for?

Billy the Kid Museum & Gift Shop Sign

New Mexico is a vast and beautiful state! There are many wonderful things to see and do during your visit. This sign, for instance, leads folks down the trail of American history to visit the last know accommodation of one William H. Bonney (allegedly).

  1. How many horses do you see on the sign?
  2. Where is the ampersand, what does it mean?
  3. Point to the word Museum, say the letters, what is a Museum?
